At Château de Beauregard in Provence we offer mothers-to-be and new mothers a nourishing, warm and empowering space to help you make the most of this time in your life.

We help strengthen and ground your body and mind and focus the attention on your own needs. All to make you better prepared for labour and motherhood.

The seventeenth-century château overlooks Mont Ventoux and is surrounded by six hectares of private gardens, including a herb garden and a fruit orchard. In addition to the retreat agenda, you can swim in the pool, cycle through vineyards, practice on the grand piano, dance in the fields, or just hang out with the horses.

Things to look forward to:

Angelica Carr, Founder

Angelica’s fascination by how we prepare and adapt to change runs through all her work. In her role as an international executive business coach she helps leaders navigate change in Mergers & Acquisitions and startups and prepares individual executives and teams for the uncertainties of the future.

She also delights in empowering women in leadership through talks and workshops. As a pregnancy yoga teacher she is passionate about supporting mothers-to-be and new mothers in how they deal with both exhilarating and daunting change.

Angelica has practiced yoga, meditation and pranayama for 15 years and qualified with three of UK’s top teachers, Anna Ashby, Nadia Narain and Joey Miles at Triyoga. She now teaches bespoke one-to-one and group classes in London and Provence, yoga for charity, themed yoga and meditation group classes at events and summer courses in the Stockholm archipelago.

She loves sharing the benefits of pregnancy and postnatal yoga having been astounded by their physical and mental advantages in her own journey of pregnancy and motherhood.  Angelica has complemented her yoga teacher training with qualifications in pregnancy, postnatal yoga and restorative yoga. Her teaching can be dynamic, meditative, restorative, flowy and are often a combination of these.

Juliet Lundholm

Juliet has been practicing yoga
for over a decade and is a much-loved teacher amongst her regular studio practitioners, organisations, on-line followers and celebrity private clients. She is passionate about retreat teaching as there is time and space to get to know the attendees, adapting to the needs of each individual. Juliet is trained in alignment based Hatha yoga and pregnancy yoga. Her style of teaching is relaxing and invigorating, her classes full of support, warmth and sensitivity.

Having found yoga at a point of burnout, she now empowers her own students to believe in themselves and their bodies, taking the lessons they learn from the mat into their everyday life.

Juliet is also trained in mindful transformational coaching and uses mindfulness coupled with neuroscience and psychology techniques to guide her clients towards finding their own intuitive ways to live out their life purpose; and to do so with courage and conviction.

Juliet has contributed to some of the UK’s top wellness magazines.

Sajni Lakhani

Sajni’s background includes working as a strategy consultant with C-suite executives in blue chip organisations and she has run operations for fast-paced start-ups. Currently, she is dedicated to finding balance and harmony as a mother and wife whilst continuing to run a business. She feels that a successful city career, spinning multiple plates, managing large teams and taming complex operations, has helped her with some aspects of new motherhood. She feels that mothering is important work as we lay the foundations for the next generation of society and she is passionate about sharing the wisdom that she has encountered.

Sajni has been practicing Bhakti yoga since childhood and has studied physical yoga for over 8 years. Her thirst for knowledge and desire to bridge the gap between East and West, between body and mind, has her continually learning more, with professional qualifications including: coach and trainer for Women’s Empowerment with Dr Joanna Martin, founder of One of Many; 500+ hours of yoga teacher both in India and with Triyoga in the London; Yoga Nidra training with Uma Dinsmore Tuli, author of Yoni Shakti; Pregnancy yoga training with Sandi Sharkey, founder of Yoga Matters.

Sajni combines research-driven coaching techniques with the deep physical and mental release of yoga and meditation. Her teaching style is playful and compassionate.
